Gevelimpregneer Si-10 – West Protect

Water-repellent impregnating agent based on siloxane – colorless, moisture-regulating, UV- and alkali-resistant.
With West Protect Gevelimpregneer Si-10 you protect facades sustainably against moisture, pollution, and weather influences. This highly concentrated siloxane-based impregnating agent is colorless, breathable, and highly suitable for both private and professional applications.

Application

West Protect Gevelimpregneer Si-10 is developed for the water-repellent impregnation of concrete, plaster, aerated concrete, calcium silicate brick, and fired facing brick. The product is only suitable for vertical surfaces and can also be applied to masonry roll layers (in combination with Rollasagimpregneer Si-16).

Substrate

For optimal results, the mortar joints must be in good condition. Open head or bed joints must be filled beforehand. The substrate must be dry, clean, dust-free, and absorbent. Windows, frames, and plants must be covered.

Application method

• Apply by low-pressure spraying or evenly brushing.

• Application possible down to -5 °C (not near open flames).

• Drying time: tack-free after approx. 2 hours at 20 °C. Water-repellent after approx. 4 hours at 20 °C.

Consumption

Consumption depends on the porosity of the substrate and averages:
0.5 – 1.5 liters per m².

Cleaning

Clean tools and clothing with a solvent (turpentine, paraffin oil, etc.). Remove splashes on glass or frames immediately.

Storage

• Close packaging tightly after use.

• Store cool and dry.

• At least 6 months shelf life in sealed packaging.

Important

• H304: May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways.

• EUH066: Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
